Who we are
Sanctions SOS Ltd., and Sanctions SOS NFP (which is part of the Sanctions SOS Group), are a commercial and non-government organisation, founded to provide specialist sanctions expertise, knowledge, training and capacity building. We work with a range of businesses of differing sizes, academia and governments across the world. We were established in 2021 with the aim of bringing together all streams of sanctions work and enhancing the implementation and understanding of sanctions.
What we do
The knowledge and understanding of the changing sanctions landscape that we in Sanctions SOS have means we are ideally placed to help clients from across different industries and of differing sizes to understand the sanctions risks they face and how to mitigate these risks. We are able to provide a full suite of services to clients, allowing them to effectively meet the challenges of todays sanctions compliance world, whilst helping to future proof against the next challenge.
Through Sanctions SOS’s not-for-profit side, Sanctions SOS NP, we aim to work with governments and international organisations across the globe to build capacity, improve the understanding of sanctions, and the how the private sector compliance world works. Sanctions SOS NP also looks to contribute positively to the academic discourse around sanctions, and bringing academics together with government officials, and the private sector.
It is the unique aim of Sanctions SOS to bring together s the sanctions work of governments, the private sector, and academia in a truly wholistic approach to sanctions work.
Why Sanctions and why us
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine sanctions has become part of everyday parlance for many and is no longer considered a niche area of work. However, understanding sanctions and how to comply with sanctions is still complex.
We are uniquely placed to help all regarding sanctions knowledge, implementation, enforcement, and critically private sector compliance. We bring a range of unique experiences across academia, government and private sector. We are the only organisation that seeks to bring together all strands of sanctions work, from consultation to in-depth studies and training.
